This series is inspired by wild animals caught in the light and sites of adolescent fantasies - comic books, underwear catalogues, Sci-Fi. The portraits are formerly invisible icons made visible and proud - that is Asian men who are in control of their sexuality. I have vamped up their exotic qualities in exchange for power. These bodies create desire from a position of control. |
