Bubble, 2002 view the clip Full length: 3min 17sec looping video Performed 3 May, 2002 Bubble is a subway performance where I begin tap dancing on large industrial sheets of bubble wrap. The performance attempts to heighten levels of tension and discomfort that one feels when in close proximity to strangers. An object often used to protect and secure, its role has been altered to create alarm, spectacle, and humor. This video is shown in a small, darkened room carpeted with bubble wrapping.
